Dustin Crawford practices all areas of employment law at Mays and Kerr. Mr. Crawford earned a B.A. from Auburn University and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law. While at Emory, Mr. Crawford served as a Notes and Comments Editor on the Emory Law Journal, Emory's flagship law review. As a Georgia employment lawyer, Dustin litigates cases arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, as well as other state and federal employment laws. Mr. Crawford also has experience representing clients in whistleblower lawsuits, OSHA proceedings, and class and collective actions. While Mr. Crawford litigates all types of employment lawsuits, his primary focus is on wage and hour litigation — including collective actions — under the FLSA.
Mr. Crawford also has extensive experience drafting and negotiating Limited Liability Company Operating Agreements, Limited Liability Partnership Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements and Purchase and Sale Agreements. Mr. Crawford represents minority shareholders and minority members in actions against the company and majority owners for freeze-out and dilution claims, shareholder oppression suits and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
In his spare time Mr. Crawford enjoys traveling, eating and reading philosophy.
